On June 11, 2019, the former president, Lee Sang-jeong attended the international seminar and expert group meeting on “Police Capacity Development and Victim Support Mechanism for Addressing Gender-based Violence,” held by KNPU and UNDP Seoul Policy Centre, where he delivered a keynote speech.

From June 11 ~ 12, 70 policy makers, senior police officials and experts on gender violence (from international organizations including UN) from Africa, Asia, Europe and Middle East came together to actively discuss police capacity enhancement on response to gender violence.
